Apartments in Ika

Ika is a small fishing village located between Ičići and Lovran, which is only 3 kilometers away form Opatija. This is the perfect place for peacefully and quality rest, because tourism here remembers its beginning in the year1820., and until today it is well developed thanks to the large number of comfortable accommodation and a very gracious host. Today there are inhabited only 500 people, who are, besides fishing, mostly facing all to tourism activities. Beside hotels, large number of private apartments for any pocket, from plain to the ones in villas with their own parks, are the guarantee of quality and diverse holiday accommodation. In winter, this place is revived with the arrival of students who are attending the Faculty of travel management, which is located near the center.
Ika is laying on the shore of an open bay where is a big strand calling many seafarers to come to rest in this cozy atmosphere. There is a mild climate throughout the year, that created a small paradise of the Mediterranean vegetation which is abundant in Ika. For such a magnificent landscape is also responsible mountain Učka on whose slopes Ika lies.
Good connections with the rest of Istria, with which is connected via the local main road, can provide good entertainment for long summer nights in Opatija or perhaps Lovran, while Ika for complete relaxation yet offers a range of sports and recreational activities, mostly marine. Two large sandy beaches are place where  You can enjoy the endless sun on a hot, summer day. Special romantic experience of this small, magical place, You will feel walking on the promenade called 'lungomare'.
