Apartments in Rab Lopar

Lopar is located on the island Rab, situated in the Kvarner group of islands. It is 110 kilometers away from the administrative center Rijeka, 190 kilometers from Zagreb and pretty close to major European centers such as Ljubljana (230 kilometers), Vienna (550 kilometers), Milan (580 kilometers) and Munich (630 kilometers). Lopar can be reached by ferry line Jablanac - Misnjak, where the journey takes only about ten minutes. Or to guests more interesting route is ferry line from Valbiska (on the island Krk) - Lopar, where especially attractive drive lasts about an hour and thirty minutes.

Population is 1204, and Lopar is considered as very small place, but with beautiful beaches and location. One of the most beautiful local beaches is San Marino, but Lopar has much more very attractive beaches. Accommodation could be found in a hotel, or in private apartments or in auto camp. Lopar has a lot of sandy beaches, about 22, and it has 3 beaches for the nudists.

Something what is very interesting to experience while you are at Lopar are Rab fjera and Summer festival. Rab fjera is widely known and while it last the city became medieval town, hundreds of people dressed in renaissance costumes and old crafts live again. So do not miss the opportunity to experience that.
