Skrad is a wonderful mountain village, located 700 meters above sea level in the heart of Gorski Kotar, mountain part of Croatia. Devil’s passage is a magnificent hole in the rock through which passes a stream Jasle. So rare phenomenon You can only see drawn in a fairy tale, and you can only experience it in this small corner of the country.
Tourism in Skrad exists now for over 150 years, because of the construction of  Louisiana road connecting Karlovac to Rijeka, which today is a modern road, along which goes even a railroad. From 19th century, here were built many catering, mountain houses, churches, post office, even the ski hill in early 20th century. Beside hotel accommodation, you can find warm and peaceful apartments in private houses with all modern equipment on can wish for, air condition, heating, satellite tv, microwave oven and else.
