Brijuni consists of 14 islands and islets with a total area of 36.3 km². The island of Krk shares the title of the largest Croatian island with the neighboring Cres island, both of which have the area of 405.78 km². Mljet island is a national park as well, at the same time the most forested Croatian island and the largest in the Dubrovnik Archipelago. It is a unique destination in the whole Mediterranean sea due to its incredible natural and cultural heritage.
