The bicycle routes Supetar offer active vacation on Brač and meeting local traditions and natural beauty of the island on two wheels. There are seven cycling routes you can ride if you rent apartment, room or holiday house in Supetar. All routes bear the names of saints. The longest cycle path is St. Juraj, which runs through almost all settlements in Brac and is 160 kilometers long. Bicycle trails St. Jere and St. Josip are equal in length of 53 kilometers and both follow local asphalt roads. St. Josip leads from Supetar via Mirca, Ložišća, and Milna to Donji Humac, where it goes back to Supetar. St. Jere is a more demanding track that crosses the eastern side of the island and goes back to Supetar via Nerežišća. St. Peter is a shorter run, 42 kilometers long, but also very demanding. It leads over to Mirca, follows the Dolčevita pedestrian path to the tip of the hill, and then descends to Nerežišća. From Nerežišća leads to Lovrečina bay, and then returns to the start. St. Jelena is 30 kilometers long and follows the olive groves and descends to the Splitska cove, which was still in the ancient times a port from which stone was delivered for Diocletian's palace building in Split. The shortest track, Sv. Lovre, stretches for 26 kilometers, from Supetar across Trolokve to the magical sandy bay of Babin laz. After the refreshment, it continues to Postira and ends in Lovrečina - another beautiful bay with remains of an early Christian basilica and crystal-clear sea for the unforgettable summer enjoyment. Choose any route, and you will discover the attractions of Brač and have the opportunity to enjoy the island's cuisine specialties.
