We reserved two apartments at this property and paid a 50% deposit. Five weeks before the start of our vacation, my husband had an accident at work and had to undergo surgery. I immediately informed the owner by email that we couldn't come due to the surgery and asked for a refund of my deposit. The owner reacted negatively and doesn't want to pay anything back. The owner said, "This is our guarantee money." I think that was inhumane, and I guarantee there will be enough time to find new clients. I wish everyone else looking forward to Croatia a wonderful vacation and, most importantly, stay healthy.
