Whether you have found an apartment, room or holiday home in Grohote or accommodation in Rogac on Solta, Kasjun Beach is the place you have to visit. Rogac was established as the harbour of Grohote, which is the oldest settlement on the island of Solta. Today Rogac is a village for itself, a magical place that gathers houses in three beautiful bays on the northeaster coast of the island. Kasjun, Banje and Rogac are names of bays, and the bay of Kasjun is perhaps the most beautiful with a small beach imprinted in its landscape cut deep into the mainland. The bay is, on the one hand, protected by a small peninsula with dense pine forests. There are 2 kilometres from Grohote to Kasjuna, but even this is not too far for hiking through the lush Mediterranean vegetation and picturesque shadowy landscapes. The bay of Kasjun is loved by yachtsmen, it is easy to find shelter here from south and west winds, and there are several restaurants with daily fresh fish and local cuisine specialities. The beach of Kasjun is not big, but magical in its miniature beauty of the scattered pebbles and the perfect turquoise sea where it is descending. Just over half a mile from the beach, through the narrow country roads, there is a parking lot for 70 vehicles. Due to this distance, it is not the family beach, it is more for adventure lovers and those who want peaceful hours near or under the sea in the magical atmosphere of the intact nature of the Mediterranean.
