We have been going on holidays to Croatia for several years now. Usually, we try a few different accommodations during one holiday, and we have to say that this has been our best apartment so far! The apartment offers plenty of space for a family of four – we felt very comfortable in it. It is modernly furnished, gives a luxurious impression, is extremely clean (it looked almost brand new), and has a balcony with a breathtaking view of the main beach and the entire Metajna bay, where we enjoyed the sunset almost every evening. The apartment is excellently equipped. Besides useful appliances like a dishwasher, induction hob, air conditioning, Wi-Fi (with a strong signal), etc., there is also a coffee machine and a stick vacuum cleaner, which is especially appreciated by anyone with kids. We received an unlimited supply of dishwasher tablets as well as coffee capsules. Right by the apartment house, you can use two types of grills and relax in hammock chairs on the terrace. During our stay, the hosts also kindly lent us their paddleboards, which gave us a fantastic chance to try paddleboarding for the first time. The apartments also offer a spacious parking lot directly above the building. All these details add to the overall comfort and great feeling of staying here. On the day of our arrival, we found a gift bag on the table with homemade marmalades prepared by the hosts themselves. It was such a lovely surprise. The hosts were very pleasant and communicative from the very first moment. They helped us with anything we needed without any problems and were always willing to accommodate us. During our stay, the hostess surprised us twice with a full plate of fresh pancakes and a delicious cake. The nearest beach is only about a 2-minute walk down the streets of Metajna – the main Metajna beach. Just behind a small hill, you’ll find the beautiful Ručica beach. I recommend renting a pedal boat there and going to see the nearby Beritnica beach, overlooked by stunning sandstone rock formations. At sunset, we enjoyed walking along the coastal “Life on Mars” trail, which starts at the end of the beach in Metajna and loops around to Ručica beach. As I mentioned at the beginning of this review – this apartment is by far the best we have rented in Croatia. We truly felt at home here. I recommend it with all my heart!
