Apartments Vera - Pisak - Split region

After arriving at the apartments, the outside of the place was charming. Beautiful views of both the mountains and the sea. I got the keys and paid for my stay (unfortunately, for the first time I did not receive a bill). The photos on the website are not current, so it would be worth updating them. Unfortunately, I quickly fell to the ground. The toilet was not cleaned well, there was a smell of urine and there were hairs left in the strainer in the shower. The bathroom had a small window onto the corridor, which did not fulfill its function anyway, as it looked out onto the hot corridor. Hot because there were two external air conditioning units installed in it. They hadn't been cleaned for a long time, so they were boiling to the max. The temperature in the corridor was higher than outside. Walking through the corridor was torture. When the window from the corridor was open, all the heat came inside. From our air conditioning or our neighbor's. The indoor air conditioning unit also barely worked, it certainly hadn't been cleaned before the season, which was visible from the dirt and dust on it. She also didn't have the strength to blow because it wasn't pressurized. Some strange air conditioning card activated the counter and air conditioning. The elderly gentleman who took care of the house informed us that if the temperature dropped to 0 degrees, the air conditioning would not work and we would have to pay extra. The older man's name is Tommy and he only speaks German The only plus point of the bathroom were clean towels and soap. The carpet by the shower tray (the photo from the bathroom is not current, the cabin is now closed) was dirty, we sacrificed our own T-shirt. The photo on the rooms is old. There are two single beds in the small room and a fold-out sofa bed in the room connected to the kitchen. TV with satellite only for German channels, no terrestrial TV. The kitchen was equipped with the right number of plates and cups for 4 people, there was less cutlery, and an advantage was the possibility of using the dishwasher, which we did not use because it was too large. The balcony was large, with a table, 4 chairs and a deckchair. There was an outdoor dryer. The view from the balcony of the sea, the island of Brac and the mountains is beautiful. Being in Croatia for the sixth time, I have mixed feelings. The place is beautiful and the apartment looks like its glory days are behind it. I would not recommend this room to ot

Spacious, clean apartment with a unique sea view. The owner is a very helpful, always smiling kind gentleman. We spent our second vacation in this apartment and we will be happy to return here. I will not forget to mention the perfect communication with Miss Katja, who takes care of reservations and receiving guests. Thank you very much

I recommend the Vera appartment, the view from the terrace is amazing, the lovely owner is always helpful, he baked delicious rolls for my daughters and on the day he said goodbye to us with a nice gift. I have been going to Croatia for 18 years to meet such cordial people less and less. Regards
