We wholeheartedly recommend a stay at the Kala Apartment. Tanya and Marko are delightful hosts, always attentive to their guests' well-being, patiently answering all questions, suggesting interesting events in Podgora, and offering assistance at every turn. Contact with them was quick and easy. A comfortable apartment for a family of five, clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped – three separate bedrooms, a spacious living room, a comfortable and well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and a large terrace where we enjoyed meals under a shady awning, overlooking the sea on one side, the mountains on the other, and the beautiful vegetation below. There's an excellent parking space, so you don't have to drive through the winding, narrow streets to the town center, and it's accessible directly from the main road. Podgora itself has everything you need for everyday needs, and larger shops (Lidl, Konzum, Plodine) are a 15-minute drive away (Makarska). Podgora has something for everyone; it's a charming town – we recommend a walk to the Seagull Monument and up the mountain, along the hiking trail to the viewpoint with a beautiful panorama of Podgora and the Adriatic Sea.
