We had the pleasure of staying in Ivica's beautiful house for a week. What a gem! We've never seen so much attention to detail; there was everything we needed and more: towels, coffee beans, water, soft drinks, toiletries, and plenty of dishes. In other accommodations, things were sometimes missing (pans, etc.), but here everything was plentiful. Upon arrival late at night (11 p.m.), we were warmly welcomed by Ivica. He had also prepared a delicious plate of sausage, cheese and bread with cold beer, water and coca cola for us. Moreover there were two cartons of milk and eggs from his mother. The house was super clean and the furniture was very comfortable. We really wanted to take it home with us. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, and our 13-year-old son had his own "man cave" on the first floor! He loved it! The outside with the whirlpool was a dream. Total tranquility! There is not much tourism in Topusko yet so we enjoyed the quiet of the place to the max! Ivica always had time for us. When we had a minor car accident (a rockfall), he came to check on us and determine if it was safe to continue driving. So sweet! As a parting gift we also received homemade tabasco and he came over for a nice chat. So if you are thinking of staying in central Croatia, this is the absolute best place! We hope to come back again in the future!
