The apartments are located right by the sea in a quiet and friendly rural setting. Each apartment has a large terrace with a sea view. They are surrounded by a landscaped Mediterranean garden suitable for children to play. There are deck chairs and a shared barbecue in the garden. Each apartment has 2 bathrooms. Nearby, a 5-minute walk away, is the center where there is a market with products from local farms, as well as shops and restaurants. Emergency medical care is available 24/7. The beach directly in front of the apartment is pebbly and there are several beaches a short distance away where there is also a sandy beach. Arrival by car: the highway leads directly to the ferry port of Gaženica. After that, boarding the ferry to Preko follows. In summer, the lines are frequent, operating at least every hour. From the ferry port of Preko, you can reach the town of Ugljan, which is 10 km away, via the island highway. Arrival by plane: From Zadar airport, by bus or taxi, in 15 minutes. you can reach the ferry port of Gaženica directly, where you can board the ferry to Preko.

Having now stayed in two different apartments at Apartments Ilenka, we can confidently say we’ll definitely return. Both apartments have a practical layout with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, making them ideal for families or couples travelling together. The location is fantastic – the sea is literally on your doorstep, so you can walk straight out to the bay in your swimwear. The terrace overlooking the sea is perfect for relaxing, and the sunsets are spectacular. The village is just a few minutes walk away, with a marina, restaurants and supermarkets, yet it still has a peaceful, authentic feel rather than being a busy tourist destination. Ugljan is a beautiful island to explore by car, and the frequent ferries make getting there very easy. Friendly hosts, a wonderful location, and an apartment we highly recommend.

Great location right by the sea, with lots of outdoor space for relaxing and a large grill, without which there is no real seaside vacation. Friendly owners. Everything you need for a peaceful vacation, and in the nearby city center there is enough catering, shopping and a fish market. We will come back, probably next year.
