The tranquility of the town and the quiet road allow for cycling along the sea, rollerblading, etc. From the town it is also possible to reach the nearby island of Korčula with a boat that leaves from the town daily (the ride takes about 15 minutes). In addition, the Pelješac peninsula itself offers a multitude of facilities such as wineries, beaches, archaeological sites, etc. Dubrovnik is about an hour and a half away by car and can be visited on a day trip.
