Završje near Grožnjan

Several kilometers from Grožnjan, on the road to Oprtalj, you`ll find Završje situated on a 240-meter high hill. Završje near Grožnjan was once surrounded by double walls, which are partly visible today. It has always been a place of farmers who breed cereals, olives and fruit. The medieval castle was built in the 11th century and is also known as Contarini's palace. It consists of residential and commercial buildings.
