I’ve visited once a country blessed by unique beauty and every tiny bit of it’s land seemed to me as the nature's masterpiece, bit by bit all like shiny pearls stringed on a beautiful necklace. It is called Croatia. The brightest of these pearls are eight National parks, a pretty good number of nature endemic creations for such a small state.
Even though the North of Croatia with her rich and fertile prairie is interesting and beautiful, most of the National parks are situated in West and South part of land, mainly in the region called Dalmatia.

That is the place where the land and the sea created little paradises of their own with the special climate and healthy, smooth air. Amazing flora and fauna with lot's of endemic species together with the sea and the river beauty, hidden in their force and power, are attracting tourists from all over the world.
National park Brijuni is always considered as a perfection of the nature creation. The legend about it says that angels are flying over them and keep them from all the bad even today. It is famous tourist resort, well known as an elite gathering. Located on West coast of Istria, in front of  Fažana's watercourse which is pretty shallow, so the island Brijuni stick whit the mainland in a distant past time. There are 14 islands on a 33,9 km², the biggest are Big and Small Brijuni.

Besides big beautiful villas, attraction for celebrities and important politicians, the park Brijuni is crowded with archeological and geo-pale ontological sites. It is also famous for it’s rich bio diversity, which is the result of perfect match of geographical location, geological background and the island isolation. Man, with his traditional doings and healthy food, enriched this already wealthy place.
National park Plitvice captures attention and leaves You breathless.

It is a beautiful ark of 16 big and small lakes emerging a perfect whole, connected whit crystal clear waterfalls and streams. Legend says that they aroused after the great barn. People pried for water and mighty black queen answered their prays. Rained for days and the water turned the burned ground to a magical system of lakes and creeks.
It would be a shame not to visit National park Krka, nature's and karst’s phenomena. Clear and fast river Krka dominates trough all the park, spreading the scents of rich flora and fauna. She is well known for it’s estuary; seawater extends to the base of Skradinski Buk and it has 23,5 kilometers in length. It is considered a phenomena, due to its lack of pollution and biological vitality. It is an area rich in shellfish, freshwater fish and saltwater fish. Another big attraction is small island Visovac in Krka river with a mystic monastery on it.
National park Paklenica is a conjunction of mountain and sea landscape, placed on the mild slopes of  the South side of the giant mountain Velebit. This healthy nature environment, full of interesting caves and cultural-historical heritage is a real treasure of Croatian sightseeing.
ational park North Velebit is another of three mountains queens of National parks because of it’s nature beauty, many endemic species from flora as well as fauna and pit holes. There we can find the deepest pit in the world, Luka's pit.
National park Risnjak is placed in Gorski Kotar and it is a part of massif on mountain Risnjak. It’s woods, filled whit thick and silky air, are unforgettable for many of those who, seeking peace and rest, found the way there.
National park Kornati and Mljet are the island treasures among the national parks. They are Adriatic sea prettiest diamonds; Kornati whit unique big and small 89 islands and rocks who are drifting in the Christal blue sea. Mljet is a lonely paradise lost in the sea away from the mainland, special for it's unique nature, woods and salt lakes.
All of these spots have insignificantly altered ecosystems and they seem to exist to take You back to history when man’s benefit did not defy the laws of nature. National parks are Croatian little children; giving joy and happiness to the lucky ones who have experienced them and reminding us on the world used to and should be.
