Senj is a town at the Adriatic coast, between Rijeka and Zadar, closer to Rijeka. It has 76 kilometers of coast. It is the oldest town at that part of Adriatic, and was founded before 3000 years.
Climate is Mediterranean, but wind called “bura” is the most popular in this part of the country. Bura is cold northern wind which brings cold and dry whether.
According to population census from 2001, Senj has total population of 8132 inhabitants. Most people are engaged in tourism, but also there are many active in some other branches, as Senj is well developed town.
