Crikvenica Town Museum

One of the newest museums in Croatia keeps the memory of the rich history of this region. The museum has no permanent collection, but it is a good reminder of the cultural identity of Crikvenica, Jadranovo, Dramalj and Selce. From spring to autumn it follows the historical and cultural events of the city. In the museum you can see the remains and reconstructions of ancient amphorae found at the archaeological site Ad Turres, the remains of cave animals from Vrtara pit, or historical fire engines, fishing tradition, etc. The museum is located in the city center. A short walk from the main square on one side and the bus station on the other will take you there. Crikvenica Town Museum is actively involved in organizing the Days of Ad Turres by creating great outdoor museum exhibitions. The winter time is reserved for the big event, called the Night of Museums, when the museum attracts many visitors with the appropriate exposure.
