The Football Museum in Zagreb is in fact the Informational and Multimedia Center of the Croatian Football Federation, “Be Proud,” located in the very heart of Zagreb, right next to Ban Josip Jelačić Square, on Petrinjska Street. The locker room introduces the beginnings and development of football in Croatia through screens, original artifacts, and illustrations, with particularly striking lockers commemorating all national team appearances at major tournaments. The tunnel is a short transitional space that simulates players walking onto the pitch, building excitement before the main exhibition. The pitch and Hall of Fame form the central area, where interactive screens allow visitors to select and watch the greatest goals, historic matches, and legendary players. This is where iconic achievements such as the unforgettable medals from 1998, 2018, and 2022 are celebrated. The center also pays tribute to futsal and women’s football, and among the exhibits visitors can even see a replica of the very first football used in Croatia back in 1880.
