The town of Vrsi is located on the peninsula of the same name in the extreme northwestern part of northern Dalmatia, about 20 km away from Zadar and about 5 km away from the oldest Croatian royal town Nin. Vrsi is adorned with a beautiful coast about 34 km long, rich in natural beaches and coves suitable for swimming or simply for a quiet holiday away from urban centers. There are also 2 islets Mišjak and Zečevo. The islet of Zečevo is especially interesting because during low tide it turns into a peninsula, and the tide makes it an island. On this island there is also the church of Our Lady of Zečevo, where the faithful make a pilgrimage every year on May 5 and August 5. Who likes to enjoy the untouched nature, beautiful beaches, peaceful ambience without much crowds, this is one of the ideal tourist destinations. Within 3 km there are the following attractive beaches: sandy beach Jasenovo, unique fine pebbles Duboka Draga, predominantly sandy beach (with little pebbles) Sv. Jakov and a number of other, smaller beaches.
