Roman Temple in Nin consists of the impressive remains of a monumental structure dating back to the 1st century AD. The Roman Temple in Nin once measured about 33 meters in length and 23.5 meters in width. Today, the ruins of the Roman forum stand in the very center of Nin, where you can still see the preserved staircase that once led up to the grand portico. Rising in the middle is a Corinthian column, originally around 17 meters tall, symbolizing the former magnificence of the temple and the ancient city of Aenona, as Nin was once called.
