Žižanj is an uninhabited island in the Zadar archipelago. Only true lovers of the sea and solitude will choose to visit this island. Accommodation on Žižanj is available in occasionally inhabited private apartments. Given that the island is among the uninhabited ones, a holiday home on Žižanj offers a perfect peace that is difficult to find on the mainland or on populated islands. The boat trip from Biograd na Moru to Žižanj can last over an hour and a half. However, if you are coming from Pašman, this island is nearby, as it is only half a kilometer south of the western cape of Pašman and half a kilometer north of the island of Gangarola. Žižanj is a low island with an area of less than one square kilometer and a highest altitude of 48 meters above sea level. Although uninhabited, during the summer months you can find rare guests and residents who own holiday cottages here. There is also one restaurant in the bay facing Pašman. The island is covered with macchia and olive groves and is a perfect refuge from the daily madness of populated areas.
