Apartment Marko - Pag - Croatian Islands

We stayed 4 nights in the apartment of Mrs. Željke and Mr. Alen were delighted. The negative comment we saw when we already booked our stay honestly scared us and we didn't know what to expect upon arrival. We arrived at the apartment and after meeting the owners, we realized that these are not true. The things they are looking for are a matter of culture and logic, nothing more. It is logical that if the guest causes harm to her and is responsible, showering outside is not an "obligation", but if someone wants to try it, grilling is more than possible, and no one will go to bed smeared with tanning marmalades and other such things. I think it's okay to respect other people's things and don't flinch, and that it's not something that needs to be particularly emphasized, and the air conditioner also, logically, shouldn't be turned on with the windows open. All in all, the family is extremely nice and approachable, we could turn to them for any problem and they came out to meet us. The atmosphere is excellent, full of laughter and cheerful people with the peace necessary for rest.

From the moment we arrived, Mrs. Željka and Mr. Alen welcomed us as if we were at their place every year. The apartment is clean and tidy to be commended. Beautiful view from the apartment of the sea and the surrounding islands. Anyone who wants a quality and peaceful vacation should come and see for themselves good and polite hosts and a pleasant vacation.

The hosts are friendly, the apartment is tidy, the view from the terrace is wonderful. For people who want peace and quiet.

We were in Haus Marco for the second time. The family is very nice and very helpful. The accommodation is very nice and was cleaned sparkling clean - exactly like the pictures, the view is fantastic. We have already booked again for next year. Thank you for the nice days.

We have been going to the sea in different cities and countries every year for 30 years, but we have never experienced anything like this. The owner of the house "Apartman Marko" ---Mrs. ŽELJKA PALADINA probably has a problem because on the first day she met us with strange rules, some of them are even written in the apartman (I took pictures) - we should take a shower outside in front of the house, as we don't pollute the bathroom and this will incur additional costs - we should slowly be in the apartment silently, because she has "cardiac arrhythmia". But her family rides a motorbike there every day - she kept our documents for us and returned them only after 24 hours, although we paid immediately for several days -we should only turn on the AC to 24 degrees (not high/low), - We shouldn't eat inside but on the terrace to keep it clean - we shouldn't lie on the bed covered in cream because of the bed linen (in full sun and with red skin) - no hairdryer available -We weren't allowed to grill, only her family was allowed to grill (it wasn't quiet in the house at all). One day the radio at FR.ŽELJKA on the ground floor was very loud and kept singing the same song - We weren't allowed to use the washing machine, but whatever - We were allowed to throw very little or no toilet paper down the toilet to prevent clogging. -There were no blankets, towels or paper for us at the beginning. -It was exactly 4 tablespoons for us 4 women. - When the parasol was a little open, FR.ŽELJKA immediately warned us about wind etc. so we didn't touch it at all - When one of us lit a cigarette on the terrace, FR.ŽELJKA already warned us about the possible damage for which we will have to pay (burned table, tablecloth) -In the following days, FR.ŽELJKA came to visit us every day, talked to us, watched us, but I didn't care. We were almost not in the app, just sleeping and showering... I thought it would all pass quietly, but then; - On the 3rd day, FR.ŽELJKA woke up at 6 AM, she just came into the apartment and screamed loudly that it was her house and that we broke her air conditioner because we had small windows (in the toilet) and entrance door open (but there was a heat wave, you couldn't breathe in the apartment)

At the very beginning, you started with lies, starting with where you are. , you are not German, but Bosnian. You stated that you have been going to the sea for 30 years, it is unfortunate that you have not learned to swim in 30 years. If someone had introduced me to the strange rules on the first day of arrival in the apartment, as you wrote (LIED), they would be smart turned and left the accommodation. We are not obliged to leave you toilet paper for all the days of your stay (only 1-2 rolls), towels (with which we met you and gave you 3, which you stole...) Likewise, if you had read the house rules better, you would have known what and how it should be. Like every apartment owner, I am obliged to inform you about the consequences of possible damage, and also if we notice that damage may occur, to warn you. Your behavior.. Although we warned you about the air conditioning (while it was working - the DOORS AND WINDOWS ARE CLOSED), you did not care, and you also kept the air conditioning at 16-17 degrees, with the windows wide open, which is why you caused a flood in the apartment because the air conditioner froze. Likewise, you forced me, the owner, out of the apartment, without any right to do so, because it is my house! Which is why the police intervened in the end. Most of what you wrote is a lot of nonsense, neither did you ask me about the barbecue, nor did I ever mention to you that you should wash yourself outside because of polluting the inside of the bathroom and the lower cost (isn't the cost the same whether you shower inside or outside??) as well to eat outside.. And as for throwing paper in the toilet bowl, yes, yes, I understand you..., probably because of that you left the bowl as dirty as if there were men, not women. I note again! If you had read the availability in the apartment, you would have seen that we do not offer a washing machine or a hair dryer, and also that smoking is prohibited inside! We did our duty, which is that we warned you and said that any DAMAGE (not finding the apartment in its original condition) is PAID, which you ignored. Terribly dirty and unpleasant smell in the apartment you left behind. SHAME on 4 women. Thank you!

The hosts were very kind and helpful! The apartment was clean and tidy, everything was very nice and new. The beach is only a few minutes' walk away. I recommend it to everyone who wants a bit of peace and quiet.

We were there in July 2022 and spent a wonderful holiday in Haus Marko in Mandre. We felt very comfortable with Zeljka and her husband Alen. The whole family is very hospitable. If we needed something or something came up, it was taken care of very quickly. The apartment is very clean, quiet and has a fantastic view. We have booked with her again for 2023 and are already looking forward to our next holiday. Karen and Matthew
