Slano is a small village in Dubrovačko–Neretvanska County. It is located in the same name bay, about 37 kilometers far away from Dubrovnik, on the northwest. It has one luxury hotel with five stars, and other accommodation capacities could be found in private apartments. This beautiful place is ideal for romantic holidays, as it is small but its beauty is huge, with beautiful beaches and sunsets. Something what should be experienced. As it is close to Dubrovnik, it gives a chance for visit to that extraordinary town and real jewel of Croatia. On the hill Gradina could be seen remains of military campus from the Roman time. It is also interesting to visit Franciscan monastery.
