Rocky beach Vodnjan has a multitude of historic buildings, a multitude of churches, a real mummy, the highest bell tower in Istria and some of the best olive oil producers in Croatia. The beaches are only 10-15 minutes away by car. Vodnjan has the longest street in the whole of Istria. There is also the narrowest street in Istria. Vodnjan is the host of the annual Olive Tree Olive Festival. It is held in November, and this is where you can taste some of the best olive oils in Istria. Some of the world's best olive oils are produced by olive oil producers from Vodnjan. The oldest olives in this area, Olivo de masina, are 500 years old and produce 400 kg of olives annually.
