Apartments Deželić - Cres - Croatian Islands

My husband and I haven't been to the sea in years. We don't have a car, I hardly travel by bus because of nausea. I don't like summer heat and crowds. Through a recommendation, we came to Mr. Deželić and it was exactly what I had imagined! Deep shade, good air conditioning in the apartment, everything is within reach! It meant a lot to us because we were without our own transportation. Mr. Deželić welcomed us with a filled cooler because he knew we were coming by catamaran, with only personal luggage. I can't describe how much it meant to us, and later we saw that the shops weren't too far for daily supplies either. My husband is a fan of swimming, he was immediately delighted by the proximity and choice of beaches. Mr. Deželić and I immediately found a lot of common generational stories, although our educational work is quite different from his. We immediately booked the same apartment for the same time next year. I feel like we found a long-lost relative, since the first meeting we have been in regular contact throughout the year. The location of the apartment and the city of Cres itself are perfect for travelers without their own transport. It is literally 5 minutes on foot to the catamaran!

I came to this apartment for the first time in June 2014 quite by accident, on a trip to Mali Lošinj. That was our first meeting with Cres and it was love at first sight with the apartment and Cres itself, which has been going on for 10 years. The first pleasant surprise was Mr. Deželić himself. All previous communication was on-line, answers were quick and concrete, I expected that it was a very young person on the other side. The welcome was warm, we immediately felt comfortable. The owner is discreet, but always at hand if something is needed. Both the beach and the city center are within reach. You cannot see the sea from the apartment, but everything is in the fragrant greenery of Mediterranean plants that provide shade and protection from the wind. The first beach is literally 110 steps away from the apartment! When we came to Mali Lošinj, we realized 2 more big advantages of this apartment - it has a secured parking space and air conditioning. And the washing machine comes in handy for a longer stay. I would recommend the apartment to couples without children who like peace, quiet and solitude, and yet - it is close enough to everything and for swimming and night outs in the city.

Apartments Deželić exude a warm homely atmosphere and I really don't understand how anyone has the nerve to write any negative comments! Mr. Deželić offered everything we needed for a pleasant summer vacation in both apartments. That's why we've been coming to him for years. If there is a defect, the host will try to correct it as soon as possible, of course if it is not a case of force majeure. In addition, the location of the apartment guarantees peace and quiet (as much as possible already in the season) and proximity to the sea and the city center. Absolute recommendation!
