Stayed in A3+1 , June 2013 | We had a great time there.

We just returned from our stay at the Novak apartments and would highly recommend it!The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, the apartment itself is clean and spacious and the view from the roof terrace simply breathtaking!Watching the dawn slowly descending on the old city while enjoying your self- cooked dinner or simply a glass of wine is a unique experience. We had a great time there.

Stayed in A3+1 , May 2013 | We didn't want to leave

We were very impressed by this apartment, set on a quiet and peaceful hillside. It was very clean and tidy and there was plenty of space for all three of us. The apartment is well equipped. Things like a hair-dryer, tv and WiFi were all provided. The kitchen has enough utensils/appliances to make light meals and there is indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy food. The beds were really comfortable and we all slept very well throughout our stay. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning and a great thing to wake up to everyday. The apartment is on the fifth floor and up a very steep hill so we got plenty of exercise! The walk into the old town only takes about 10 minutes and the walk back takes approx. double the time (but feels like longer!). There is a small but good convenience store just around the corner from the apartment which was very useful. We think that this is a great place to stay as a base for exploring the delights of Dubrovnik and nearby islands and it is very good value compared with similar apartments in Ploce. We would love to return one day.

Stayed in A3+1 , May 2013 | Pleasant and spacious apartment

Stupendous unobstructed views of the old town and harbour. Pleasant and spacious apartment. Helpful & friendly owners. Solid internet. There's no sign outside to give indication of the location of apartments, but just reach through the front gate at No. 2 and press the buzzer with the name "Novak" on it

Stayed in A2 , May 2013 | excellent apartment

Excellent apartment, with very helpful landlord. Ideal location within sensible walking distance of the heart of Dubrovnik. Very convenient local mini supermarket a matter of yards from the apartment. The landlord needs to invest in a new corkscrew!

Stayed in A3+1 , May 2013 | outstanding on the old town of Dubrovnik

"The terrace with its stunning views over the old town of Dubrovnik, near the old town (15 min walk). Calm. Kindness, availability, professionalism of the owner who carried our bags on 5 floors, we parked our car on the parking lot that we had booked, gave us many information ... " The flights of stairs, but all apartments Dubrovnik are on this model. The absence of signs of the name of the apartment on the facade.

Stayed in A3+1 , August 2012 | Just gorgeous!

We enjoyed very well in Dubrovnik. The apartment was more than enough for 4 people. But the air conditioning was worth a gold! Despite the very high temperatures, most of the time we spent on terrace. You can enjoy at the wonderful panorama at day and night! The old town is worth of seeing, but very crowded and more expensive than in the other parts of Croatia. Sandy beach and supermarket are close, the cheaper self-catering. Actually, you have few minutes walk to everything. The owners are very friendly and always available. It was very nice holiday, great accommodation, fantastic weather, beautiful beach ... highly recommend this place!

Stayed in A3+1 , June 2012 | City trip

The view is simply breathtaking. The apartments are a 10 minutes walk from the old town and Banja beach, and there is a shop just round the corner. Prepare for having to climb a lot of stairs, though. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Parking can be tricky, but the hosts helped to solve it very quickly. The kitchen is well equipped, the room is clean and spacious. - The air conditioner was a bit noisy but well functioning and essential in summer.

Stayed in A2 , July 2012 | What a view!

This was the perfect apartment for our 10 day Holiday in Dubrovnik. We had not been to Dubrovnik before and had no idea of what to expect or what type of accommodation would be most suitable. Almost all hotels are quite a distance from the old walled city, whereas there are hundred of apartment to choose from, both inside the city and on the hill just outside, although apartments in the city could be noisy and a trek to get to because it is pedestrian only, Our choice was ideal, the apartment is only about 8 minutes down the steep hill and many steps to the city. The walk back is probably double, but it keeps you fit and there is the friendly bikers café for refreshment and a small general store for provisions only about 50 yards from the apartment. The owners Ivan and Marian Novak, a young couple were relaxed and marvelous hosts, They arranged the transfer from the Airport and were only there if we needed them. The apartment itself was clean and perfectly adequate for our needs, with a comfortable double bed separated from small galley kitchen, lounge and dining area. But best of all was the large private terrace with a fantastic panoramic view across the bay looking down on the beautiful medieval city, the blue Aegean and then across the bay to the verdant Island of Lokrum We had a wonderful time, we will certainly visit Dubrovnik again and would happily return to the apartments Novak.

Stayed in A2 , July 2011 | Great apartment with basic amenities

1 week in the two-person apartment and we felt very comfortable. - Super apartment with basic amenities, very clean, has everything what you need - Great view of Stari grad, sea and island Lokrum, huge terrace with sun shade - Within walking distance of everything - Stari grad 10min, 8min beach, 10 min harbor, restaurants, shops - Small supermarket right outside at the front of the house (open Mon-Sun) - Free parking right outside the door, easily accessible - Apartment is located on a side street, but it is very quiet - Very nice and kind host (speaks English) NOTE: In Dubrovnik you have to climb stairs more, so here too - about 200 down to Old Town and the beach. So being able to walk;) Apartment is strongly recommended
