Tribalj lake Crikvenica

Seven kilometers away from the center of Crikvenica, in the Vinodol valley, there is the lake Tribalj. It is the preferred destination of the people of Crikvenica, residents of the surrounding villages, and numerous guests who have holiday accommodation in Crikvenica. It is forbidden to swim in the lake, but you can enjoy sports fishing in fresh water, a picnic in the afternoon in one of the appointed localities, or paragliding with scenic flights over the lake. There is a fisherman's house at the lake where you can search for refreshments and buy a daily fishing permit, along with the advice of experienced fishermen. Kobac, the paragliding club, is also there, which can take you off from nearby rocks with experienced instructors. Around the Tribalj lake, there is a dirt road where you can enjoy walking, jogging, or cycling. The old town of Drivenik is situated on the hill above the lake, which is also worth visiting, more than just for a magnificent view of the valley.
