Apartments in Karlobag

Karlobag is a town located on the Adriatic coast, in the foot of the mountain Velebit. It has 42 kilometers long riviera. Connection of the mountain and the sea granted Karlobag ideal combination of climate, Mediterranean at the coast, and mountain climate at the Baske Ostarije on the height of 1000 meters, and distance from those two climates is just about 15 minutes drive. Town is well connected with the rest of Croatia, as is settled just on the main road route from north to south of the Adriatic.

According to population census from 2001, Karlobag has 1019 inhabitants. They mostly all are engaged in tourism as Karlobag hosts tourists during the whole year. As closeness of Velebit, during the winter is possible skiing on that mountain, springs are reserved for longs all over Velebit and for collecting herbal plants. During the summer are the most tourists in Karlobag as swimming and sun attract them most.  

Accommodation possibilities are fine, as you can stay in a hotel, or you can choose between camps and private apartments which you can rent here via Internet, or just on the street when you come to Karlobag.

Interested in sightseeing could see many religious sacral objects.
