Apartments in Krk Punat

Punat is a place located on the island Krk. The island and the mainland are connected by the bridge, and Punat is away from Rijeka only about 30 kilometers. Punat is located in the bay Puntarska Draga, which is well protected from the storms. It is 35 kilometers away from the bridge. On the island of Krk is the airport that can accept even larger planes. Punat lies on the area of 34 km2. The mild climate and crystal clear sea attract many tourists. Punat is one of the greatest nautical centers on the Adriatic coast.

Population of Punat is 1876, according to population census from 2001. During the summer there is a lot of people, but most time of the year Punat is not crowded, as many people go in Rijeka and stay there for the whole week.
